Based on the policy of professional editing and writing associations, full payment is required in advance for a first-time assessment. Payment options: Wire Transfer, Zelle, and PayPal (%4 Transaction Fee). Personal and Company Checks are accepted.
For second-time or repeated assessments, an invoice will be provided to the writer at the end of each week of the turnaround time. Each bill will include time spent in actual editing plus time spent in conference and in directly related tasks.
* Please note: For a 80,000-word novel, the extent of which is considered “typical,” professional editing services begin at $3,000.00, and may go up to $5,000.00 (+/-). This estimate translates into the per-word fee assessment outlined below (i.e., costs ranging from approximately $0.02 to $0.10 per word). To also bear in mind are factors such as the experience of the editor, the genre of focus, and the manuscript’s quality.

No two texts are identical, unless there is a revision involved. This per-word price range has been established based on the fact that one submission could be more complex than another; and hence, it will be subjected to a different per-word charge when one simple text is taken into consideration.
